DOCUMENTING BABY’S FIRST YEAR
My name is Anna Munandar, owner of Mini Anna Photography. I am a San Francisco Bay Area family photographer with a studio in Sausalito, Marin, California. I specialize in infant/ newborn photography, as well as family, maternity, milestones and pet photos. Today I’d like to discuss investing in photographic documentation of your baby’s first year.

During the first year of life, your baby changes so constantly and dramatically that it seems like they do something new and amazing every single day. Heck, sometimes they even seem to be a different baby from morning to evening. Ha! Time passes so quickly in the first year, it can be hard to capture the special moments you want to remember forever. A great way to do that is to have your baby’s first year documented and printed in a beautiful book.
Let’s face it, when you have little kids, you have so much on your plate that taking photos and documenting their milestones can be overwhelming. Like they say: “The days are long but the years are short.” Then fast forward 5 years and you regret not having those important milestones documented. This is why I’m here. Let me take this one thing off your plate.
My favorite part of being a professional photographer is capturing your memories from maternity and infant/ newborn photography, all your baby’s milestones, through the 1st birthday photoshoot. I offer a package of multiple photo sessions to capture your baby’s growth, and the important milestones over their first year. My passion is creating memories that will bring you continued happiness and joy every time you look at your photographs.
I am a full -service family photographer, and can create prints, framed portraits, calendars, holiday and announcement cards, photo albums, and custom art gallery at your home featuring your family. I believe family portraits can turn your house into a home. I offer full and mini sessions in my Sausalito studio, in your home or one of the many amazing outdoor locations San Francisco Bay Area has to offer, and I love to travel!
My packages include options for every budget, and they make excellent gifts, as there are options to include family members, pets, larger parties, and longer sessions. I like to remind my clients that for less than a monthly mortgage or rent payment in the Bay Area, you can have your baby’s entire first year of life documented in multiple sessions, and printed in a beautiful keepsake book you will treasure forever.
My Baby’s First Year package cost is $3,550, including a $1,000 discount. The last session must be completed within 15 months of the first session. Baby’s First Year package includes:
- Maternity Portrait (or opt for family portrait later),
- Studio Newborn Portrait,
- Milestone portrait (choose from 3 months, 6 months, or sitter session at 9 months)
- First Birthday/ Cake Smash Session,
- and a Custom Photo Album of Baby’s First Year.
The package is customizable, and I offer a 20% discount on all inclusive sessions and printed products during the subscription. All sessions are inclusive, so you get all the digital photos.
My Marin studio is 10 minutes north of San Francisco, just on the other side of Golden Gate Bridge. Although my studio is in Sausalito, I am happy to shoot photo session anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area, including Mill Valley, San Rafael, Petaluma, SF, Daly City, Pacifica, Palo Alto, Berkeley, Oakland, etc. North Bay, East Bay, South Bay, I’m down.
I love to travel, have visited 34 countries, lived in four of them, and speak 5 languages. I am available to travel anywhere in the world for my client’s photographic needs! My goal is to be your personal family photographer, capturing ALL your family’s milestones from maternity to newborn, school portraits, graduations, vacations, new pets, etc. And yes, I also do Cake Smash, Milk bath, Baptism, Doljabi/ Dol, Annaprasanam, Mundan, etc.
