If you're like me, you probably have a million things in your mind at any given time. You're so busy enjoying your present moments that sometimes. you blink and realize that your baby has grown so much. You want to document these fleeting moments (and have you be included in the story/ photos) but you're too busy to plan everything. I've been there and I want to help.
This is why I created the baby plan. I want to make it easy for you to remember how magical your pregnancy was, how tiny they were, their tiny fingers and toes, their chubby cheeks, the first time they smile at you, their first steps, and all their other first moments.

During the call/ when you're ready, we'll pick a date, location, and your session size (mini or big). You'll complete the Tell-Me-Everything Form and look through the Prep Guide. This helps us style, plan, and tailor the session to your family, ensuring we capture the sweetest, most meaningful moments with ease.

Frequently Asked Questions
The length of the session depends on the type of newborn session, how many people are joining the session, your vision, budget, etc. Recommended time for newborn session in studio, at home, and at hospital are 3 hours, 2 hours, and 1 hour respectively.
Studio newborn sessions take place in my Sausalito studio, focusing on posed & polished portraits. With controlled lighting, neutral backdrops, and access to studio props and wraps, these sessions are ideal for art-forward parents. Many families choose studio sessions with wall art, albums, and heirloom prints in mind.
Lifestyle newborn sessions at home focus on natural, story-driven moments in your own space. These sessions capture real connections—snuggling on the couch, feeding, rocking, and settling into life together. The images feel more organic and personal, with your home becoming part of your family’s story.
Fresh 48 (hospital) sessions are captured within the first 24–48 hours after birth and document the raw, fleeting moments of those early hours—tiny details, hospital bracelets, first cuddles, and the emotional in-between moments.
All newborn sessions are baby-led, gentle, and unhurried. The best choice depends on whether you’re drawn to artistic studio portraits, real-life moments at home, or emotional storytelling from the very beginning.

We typically plan for 3-5 baby outfits & sets for the studio newborn session and 1 outfit for the whole family. Home sessions typically allow for 1-2 outfits with your home as the backdrop.
Absolutely! The more the merrier! Sessions with large group typically need at least 2 hours to make sure everyone has their time to shine!
That’s normal. I’m a baby & kid-whisperer and we always get beautiful moments. I will walk you through the pre-session prep to get baby comfortable and ready for their portrait session. The best plan is to bring your positive vibe and for everyone to enjoy the moments.
Typically 2-3 weeks after the session date. Rush processing is available for a fee if needed.
All of your photos will come with Mini Anna’s signature edits. I don’t deliver raw or unprocessed files because I believe every image deserves to be finished with care and presented as a little piece of art. Additional retouching (skin perfection/ blemish removal, body shaping, etc) can be requested. Fee varies depending on complexity and number of photos.
Most families invest between $1500 and $3000 for their Newborn sessions depending on image selection and artwork choices.
