  • I get it, feeling big and uncomfortable can be a bit overwhelming, but trust me, this is a chapter in your life that deserves to be celebrated and remembered. Consider a maternity session as a love letter to yourself and that precious little one growing within you.

    In those photos, you're not just capturing your pregnancy glow; you're freezing a moment in time when your body is doing something absolutely miraculous. Your kids will look at those portraits one day and see the superhero that you are – their first home, their first love.

  • Of course! Your maternity session can include just you or your family (partner, kids, furry babies). If you want to include extended family, like grandparents, let me in advance so I can make special accommodation.

  • The ideal time to do your maternity session is between 26-34 weeks. If you or you doctor feel that your baby might come early, it is best to book on the earlier side. That said, do not wait until the last minute to book your session. Start planning and booking the session around your second trimester to make sure we secure your spot. We can reschedule the date if needed.

  • For studio session, yes. I have a few maternity gowns and outfits in my closet that you can wear during your studio session. However, it is recommended that you bring a couple of outfits that you like and know for sure fits well with your body and your personality. If your partner and/ or kids joining the session too, you would need to prepare and bring their outfits as well. I would be more than happy to help you with any of these.

  • For 1 hour studio session, we normally do around 3 outfit change: maternity gown, casual outfit, and silk toss. However, we can adjust the session according to the style that you prefer.

    For outdoor session, we typically do not do outfit change. If you want multiple outfit for outdoor session, we would need to discuss the logistic in advance to make sure the location and condition allows for multiple outfit.

  • Yes. I can adjust the style of the session according to your comfort level and your preference. I love that you want to celebrate the magic of your pregnant body this way! Let’s chat before the session to discuss the details.

  • Of course! I always adjust the style of the session according to your comfort level. The photos that I will take will reflect who you are, your preference and your personality. The most important thing is that we celebrate and document your super power (growing a human) your way.

"We are so happy with our baby and family (including our 4 legged family) photos from Anna. Anna is very professional and arrived on time. She brought all of the props with her and was very flexible working with our less than ideal parking situation. She is really patient and has the magic touch with babies. I think we referred to her as the baby whisperer several time because our little girl did not want to close her eyes or stay still. Anna didn't mind and kept patiently working to get the shot even staying well beyond the original appointment time. Our little girl had several bathroom accidents during the naked photos and Anna was completely understanding and was totally prepared with extras. :) The best part about Anna is that she really captured the uniquely characteristic features of our family and our little girl. I can't say enough good things about her."

"Anna's work is amazing. We did a mini session with Anna at Ft. Point. Prior to the session, Anna asked me to fill out a questionnaire. One of the questions was: if we were looking at these photos years from now, what kind of emotion would I want them to convey? I wanted to see family and love. Anna captured our family beautifully. The love, family, and togetherness definitely comes through the photos. I was very impressed because 1) our family is difficult to capture well and 2) we've never met Anna before, so did not have the advantage to my kids being photographed by someone they've known for years.
